Donate today

With every purchase of products through Poppies4Kits, a portion of the proceeds is donated to the Royal British Legion (RBL). These funds are crucial in enabling the RBL to continue their work, which includes providing financial assistance, mental health support, housing and employment services for military veterans and their families.

We are also able to take donations, all of which will be donated to the RBL to continue their support for the Armed Forces community.

how donations make a difference

could pay for a bus/train ticket so a veteran can attend a vital hospital or doctor’s appointment.

could go towards essential art supplies to help a veteran express themselves following a PTSD diagnosis, at our Recovery through the Arts programme.

could go towards an emergency grant for an Armed forces family facing money problems, stepping in before they receive expert support from our debt advice team.

some of our disabled veterans are unable to carry a rucksack. £50 could fund a set of panniers, so veterans can carry their lunch on their adaptive bikes, regaining a sense of independence during their recovery course.

2024 donation

In 2024, Poppies4Kits raised £38,645.52. This value is vital in the RBL’s work supporting the armed forces community.

This value goes towards supporting the armed forces community in whatever way they need it.

  • Last years total could go towards the costs of funerals for up to 32 Armed Forces families that have lost a loved one.

  • With the total raised in 2024, approximately 15 veterans could receive stair lifts in their houses, helping them to stay at home and regain independence.

  • 12 veterans could receive funded places in a life changing recovery course.

  • The total raised in 2024, could fund an RBL Admiral Nurse for an entire year. During this period an Admiral Nurse can help up to 46 Armed Forces families per year.
