we make it possible, you make it happen
we are the only official, approved suppliers of self adhesive poppies, corner flags and armbands. Bringing poppies to pitches in support of the royal british legion.
Poppies4Kits was founded with one simple aim: to help football clubs show their support for the Royal British Legion and the Armed Forces Community through Remembrance. We came to be after a youth game cancellation sparked the idea to raise funds for The Royal British Legion by encouraging players to wear poppies.Since 2014, we’ve worked with clubs across the UK to make it easy for players, coaches, referees and volunteers to wear the poppy on the pitch. From the Premier League to grassroots football, thousands of teams now take part each year, helping keep Remembrance at the heart of the game while raising vital funds for the Royal British Legion.Football has a unique way of bringing communities together, and every November the game pauses to remember those who have served and sacrificed. We’re proud to play a small part in that tradition, giving clubs an official way to mark the occasion and show that support extends far beyond the final whistle.Everything we do is guided by respect for the meaning behind the poppy. That’s why we’re proud to be an official Corporate Partner of the Royal British Legion since 2015, with every purchase helping to support veterans, serving personnel and their families through the Legion’s work.Whether you’re a professional club, a Sunday league side, a youth team or a local referee, wearing the poppy is a simple gesture that represents something far bigger than football. Every season, thousands of clubs join together to remember, support and ensure that Remembrance continues to have a place in the game for generations to come.our mission
to bring the act of Remembrance into grassroots sport by providing officially approved poppy products that unite clubs, players, officials and spectators in support of the Armed Forces Community.Through every poppy, armband and corner flag, we help raise vital funds for the Royal British Legion while ensuring that future generations understand the sacrifices made by those who have served.
We believe remembrance should be visible, accessible and meaningful at every level of sport. By working with clubs across the UK, we aim to keep the spirit of remembrance alive both on and off the pitch.
“At Poppies4Kits, we are deeply proud to partner with the Royal British Legion and bring the symbol of remembrance to grassroots sport. By placing the poppy on the kits of players, we ensure that future generations grow up with an understanding of the sacrifices made by those who came before them. Every time a player steps onto the pitch wearing a poppy, it is more than just a game — it becomes a powerful act of respect and remembrance. Together, with the Royal British Legion, we are proud to unite communities through sport, honouring the past while inspiring the future.”

Through self-adhesive Poppy Patches, commemorative armbands, and poppy corner flags, this initiative has provided sports clubs with a meaningful way to honour those who have served.Poppies4Kits has played a vital role in increasing the Royal British Legion’s visibility within grassroots sports across the UK. By integrating the iconic poppy into local sports, the partnership has helped reinforce our core message of Remembrance and support for the Armed Forces community. Importantly, the removable self-adhesive Poppy Patch allows clubs to continue using their kits beyond Remembrance events, ensuring sustainability while maintaining the spirit of commemoration.Since the partnership began, Poppies4Kits has raised over £375,000 in support of the Armed Forces community. Beyond fundraising, this collaboration has strengthened our ties with local sports organisations, providing communities with an accessible way to engage with Remembrance through their clubs and teams. We are grateful for the continued impact of Poppies4Kits and look forward to growing this initiative in the years to come.Hugh French – Corporate Partnerships Officer – the Royal British Legion.
